This Privacy Policy explains what information the mobile game Singularity Inc. (the “App”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The App does not require an account and does not ask you for your name, email, or other directly identifying information.
Usage & gameplay analytics (PostHog). Anonymous events describing how the game is played (screens viewed, upgrades purchased, session length, store interactions), tied to a randomly generated anonymous device identifier — not to you personally.
Crash & diagnostic data (Sentry). If the App crashes or errors, we collect a crash report (stack trace, device model, OS version, app version) under the same anonymous identifier, so we can fix bugs.
Advertising data (Google AdMob). When you choose to watch a rewarded ad, Google's ad SDK may collect device and ad-interaction data, including your device's advertising identifier (the IDFA on iOS, the Advertising ID on Android) and your IP address.
Google may use that IP address to estimate your approximate location — roughly the city or region you are in, never a precise position. The App itself asks for no location permission and reads no location service; this estimate is made by Google from the network connection, and it is used to serve and measure ads and to detect invalid traffic.
Whether that identifier is used for personalized advertising depends on the consents that apply where you live, and the App asks for them before the ad SDK starts:
These are independent — where both apply, both must permit it. If you decline either one, or are not asked at all, only non-personalized ads are requested.
Purchase data (Apple / Google / RevenueCat). When you make an in-app purchase, the platform store processes the transaction. RevenueCat receives the purchase receipt and a pseudonymous app user ID to validate the purchase and restore entitlements. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
We do not sell your personal information.
We use a small number of outside services. They fall into two groups, and the difference matters for what happens to your data.
These process data on our behalf, to provide a service back to us. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. The identifier they receive is a random value generated on your device — not your advertising ID and not a hardware identifier — and it is not linked to any account, because the App has none.
EEA/UK (GDPR): rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Legal bases: legitimate interests (analytics, crash reporting, fraud prevention), consent (personalized ads), and contract performance (purchases).
California (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale”/“sharing”; we do not sell personal information.
Because most data is tied only to an anonymous identifier, we may be unable to locate data for a specific person without it. To exercise any right, contact justzeddicus@gmail.com.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact justzeddicus@gmail.com and we will delete it.
We retain anonymous analytics and crash data only as long as needed for the purposes above, subject to our providers' retention policies. We use reasonable technical measures to protect data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Our providers may process data on servers outside your country, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective date” above and posting the revised policy at this URL.
